All sale of fishing licenses in Byskeälven will be suspended temporarily. The reason is the abnormally high water temperature in the river combined with low water flow as well as many sick and dead fishes.
The board´s decision is valid for the entire fishing area until Friday 27/7. Updated information will be available on the website and Facebook on Wednesday 25 July.
Already purchased fishing cards and fishing license / annual fishing license / guest card continue to be valid but with a strong urge to everybody not to fish in the river, ie salmon, trout and grayling. However, perch and pike are still allowed to fish as they are fish species that can withstand warmer water.
